- We are small. Are we really a target?
- Almost all attacks are automated and indiscriminate — they find you because you are reachable, not because someone chose you. Small organisations are hit constantly, and are usually less able to absorb the disruption.
- What is the difference between security and monitoring?
- Security is the defence you put in place. Monitoring is knowing whether it is still working, and noticing the disk filling up, the backup failing quietly or the service degrading before it stops. You need both.
