Monitoring as a service
Proactive monitoring of servers, networks, websites and services — so you hear it from us, not from a customer.
Monitoring as a service means Asptech watches your servers, network, websites and services continuously and acts when something goes wrong — often before anyone in your business has noticed.
The worst way to find out a system is down is a customer telling you. The second worst is a member of staff who assumed someone else had reported it. Monitoring closes that gap: checks run continuously, thresholds are set to what matters for your environment, and alerts reach a person who can do something about it.
Monitoring works whether or not we run the infrastructure. If you have your own IT team, we can be the layer that watches while they build, sending alerts straight to them.
What it includes
Availability and performance
Continuous checks on servers, sites, applications and network links, with response times tracked over time.
Capacity and health
Disk, memory, CPU, certificate expiry and backup success — the slow failures that cause sudden outages.
Alerting to a human
Escalation to someone who can act, routed to our team or yours, at whatever hours you need covered.
Reporting
Trends over time, so capacity planning is based on evidence rather than on the last thing that broke.
Common questions
- Do you have to host our systems to monitor them?
- No. We monitor infrastructure wherever it lives — your office, your own data centre, another provider, or a public cloud.
- Will you fix what you find, or just tell us?
- Either. Clients on a support agreement have us act on alerts directly. Others prefer alerts routed to their own team. Both are fine.

Layered protection, auditing and staff awareness — practical security sized for your business, not a vendor checklist.
